Even strong oak planks can suffer water damage by warping if the leaked liquid is not extracted from the surface and the subfloor. The equipment is completing the drying; the drying mats have been removed once we measured and achieved the moisture content desired for the floorboards. The trick is to take a few days to slowly draw out the moisture and allow the cupping to flatten out to the original smoothly jointed planks. Our customer was elated that we could salvage this expensive flooring. Our goal is always to try to restore and not replace building materials and assemblies.
